Great new orientalis tree

This orientalis was collected yesterday. It took me 4-5 hours to dig it up and strenght of few to carry it down to the car.

All effort is worthy for such good tree.

Today Sebastijan and me took the tree and filmed some shots of preparing it for first container. There You will see stuf like: cutting of unnecessary branches and roots, washing the rootball with removing stones and finaly potting.

If You would like to watch this, keep track of Sebastijan bonsai blog...

Pinus Mugo 2008-3

Pinus Mugo or mountain pine...
Collected in fall of 2008. Now it well established in container, so I'm planing to stile it in few days...
As You can see, tree was planted in a tilted possition because of some roots that were growing in that possition, but mostly it's begginers mistake of haste in potting  and simply not having right eye to see the best potential in a tree.

Maybe I can persuade my friend Sebastijan to film the event.
(I don't think that will be a problem)

One more...

One more stiled carpinus. One of my best from last year.

Reshapted trees

Here are some trees from previous post that I have style for first time. Most of branches must be shorten even more and some even repositioned, but I do it in summer when I take wire off.
This and all other trees that are worked on are placed in greenhouse, so that they can more easier overcome rest of the winter.
